Monel 400 Threaded Fittings are formed with the alloying constituents of nickel
and copper, with some alloys containing significant additions of aluminium and
others for specific purposes. These provide a range of UNS N04400 Threaded
fittings with excellent low and high temperature strength capability combined
with high corrosion resistance.
Monel
400 threaded fitting joints probably represent the oldest method of joining
piping systems. Monel 400 threaded fitting are mainly used for small pipe
diameters, generally for piping whose nominal diameter is NPS 2 or smaller. Monel 400 Flanges are used with stub end or daft which is butt welded to
